South Wharf Promenade is located at 20 Convention Centre Place, South Wharf (Melways Ref: 1C C2), directly next to Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. It's easily accessible by both car and public transport.

With major roads such as the Westgate Freeway, Lorimer St and Montague Street all connecting to South Wharf, our location is extremely accessible for those travelling from all suburbs. Enter South Wharf car park from Normanby Road.

There are five commercial carparks located close to South Wharf. The main South Wharf carpark (accessed off Normanby Road) charges $10 per hour, with a 50% discount card available from shops, restaurants and bars of the precinct. A flat rate applies after 6pm.

How to get to South Wharf by public transport

Take the train to Southern Cross Station. Tram numbers 96 and 112 stop opposite the Clarendon Street entrance of the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.

Follow the walkway around the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre to its western end, or the wooden walkway along the riverside, which will lead you directly onto South Wharf Promenade

Alternatively, tram number 70 stops at the end of Flinders Street. Walk towards the Yarra River, then across the new pedestrian bridge to reach the promenade.
