South Wharf’s biggest beer garden The Boatbuilders Yard, is finally reopening on June 18, in perfect time to catch the AFL on the big screen. Their popular brunch and all-day dining menu will be making a comeback, made even more enjoyable thanks to gorgeous city and Yarra River views.
From 10am till late on Thursdays through to Sundays, you can enjoy brunch, lunch or dinner by the Yarra River with stunning views of the city skyline. The Boatbuilders Yard is bringing back their most popular brunch and all-day dining dishes like eggs benedict, haloumi fries and juicy wagyu beef burgers. Plus get your hands on a steaming hot cup of mulled wine.
On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays if there’s an AFL game on, you’ll find it live on the big screen. Make the most of the beer garden’s fire pits and overhead heating or go the full bull and book yourself the Private Deck for you and up to 19 mates. There’s also a $59 Bottomless Game Day Deal which covers you from first bounce until final whistle, for two hours of free-flowing tap beer and wine, plus a tasty and generous spread of food to keep you fuelled during the game. With space to fit over 115 people increasing to 180 from June 22, even with strict social distancing rules, you’ll always be able to find a seat. If your family likes to ride on two wheels, there is plenty of room to lock up bikes, or take advantage of 50% off parking at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre when you make a purchase at The Boatbuilders Yard.
Walk-ins are welcome however, if you would like to make a booking please do so via their website. All food items and coffee will be available for takeaway and their order at the table system means even less contact required. Sanitiser stations, regular cleaning and COVID-19 safety training for all staff have been implemented.
