The country’s sweetest event, Cake Bake & Sweets Show, will return to Melbourne this November with a spectacular line-up of celebrities, workshops, and sweet treats.
Devoted to all things baking, decorating, and sugar craft, the Cake Bake and Sweets Show offers everything a sweet tooth could desire. From demonstrations by some of the country’s favourite celebrity chefs including the Queen of Chocolate, Kirsten Tibballs, TV favourite Anna Polyviou, and cake maker extraordinaire Katherine Sabbath, to shopping for baking bargains or snacking your way across the show floor, the event allows visitors to take a hands-on approach to their sweet dreams.
The Art of Cake competition will see beginners and professionals alike compete with their decorating skills on show, and hands-on workshops with superstar cake decorators will give home bakers the opportunity to further develop their skills. Visitors of all ages can also get their hands dirty at the Queen Make and Take classes where they can take their sweet creations home – or just eat them on the spot. The Melbourne event will also be hosting kids-only cake decorating workshops, perfect for the budding cake artists out there.
The Decorating Stage and Super Theatre will host world-renowned cake artists and celebrity chefs, with fans getting the chance to meet their favourites at book signings across the show floor. The Healthy Baking Stage will take more of a wholesome approach to baking, perfect for those looking for inspiration in creating free-from baked goods, and healthy cooking experts Rowie Dillon and Anneka Manning will be on hand to show visitors how to do just that.
