Winter might officially be here, but that doesn’t mean it’s time bunker down and lock yourself indoors.
The Boatbuilders Yard is hosting a number of sporting events this winter, complete with blankets, heaters and drinks a plenty to keep you cheering on your favourite team – no matter the temperature outside.
State Of Origin Screenings at The Boatbuilders Yard
This may not be a Melbourne battle, but who doesn’t enjoy getting together and watching a great game with mates? Plus, there are plenty of out-of-towners that are keen to cheer on their team – jump on their bandwagon!
Get amongst the action at The Boatbuilders Yard, where they’ll be showing all three State Of Origin games on their big screen, complete with blankets, heaters and a Great Northern vs 4 Pines price-war to keep things interesting.
For every converted try they’ll drop a dollar off the relative beer, so you could potentially be buying a beer for $4, $2 or even 1 buck by the end of the night. And you will need some good tucker to go with the brews so try our Boaties fries.
If it’s one a piece for round 3, Boaties will also be running a Facebook competition to win the best seats in the house for you and your crew. You’ll have reserved seating and a $500 drinks tab to get you through the night.
State of Origin screenings:
Round 1: Wednesday June 6 at 8pm
Round 2: Sunday June 24 at 8pm
Round 3: Wednesday July 11 at 8pm
Soccer World Cup Screening – Australia vs France
Come and cheer on the Australian team during the soccer world cup as they go head to head with France from 8pm on Saturday ,June 16th.
Gather your crew and get in early to reserve a seat in front of the Boaties big screen. They’ll have the place decked out with heaters and blankets, greens and golds and enough Budweiser to keep you warm from the inside out.
Win the best seats in the house, plus $500 to spend at The Boatbuilders Yard during the game, by simply finding The Boatbuilders Yard Facebook post and tagging four friends you’d bring along to share your winnings.
There’ll also be a special menu on offer for the night, so you can refuel as much as you need. Cheering on Australia is a hungry business.
