Raise Your Glass: The Prosecco Festival Is Coming

Tuesday February 6th, 2018

February is about to get a whole lot fizzier – you’ll understand why in approximately one prosecco-nd.

Australia’s first local and international Prosecco Festival is coming to Melbourne on February 25.

Pop that cork, this is not a drill.

Cargo Hall in South Wharf is set to morph into a Prosecco paradiso in two four hour sessions, both as boozy as each other. Peruse, imbibe and get those sommelier skills refined with the growers behind the grog.

The great pillars of a Prosecco festival? Wines by the glass, cheese and caviar assortments ranked at Parisian-level standards of delicieux, and an exclusive Italian menu to choose from.

Prosecco Festival

Ever had an Aperol-spritz-flavoured cannoli? Get your hands around some (yes, you’ll be wanting more than one) and thank us later.

There’s a seriously impressive line up of wine exhibitors. We’re talking Box Grove Vineyard, Festival City Wines, Italian Wine Connection, Politini Wines, Regina Vino, Sam Miranda, SANTA & D’SAS, Symphonia Fine Wines, Vinea Marson, Vino Bambino, Vinomofo and Wines of the King Valley – just to name a few. If you make it through all of these guys and proceed to walk in a linear fashion, we will vehemently applaud you.

It’s time to round-up your ultimate WD (wining and dining) squad and get bubbly.

The first session will be held from 11am – 3pm (early-ish birds, where you at?) and the second from 4pm – 8pm. Every ticket comes complete with a genuine crystal Plumm teardrop tasting glass, as well as a goodie bag.

The perfect day out?

We guarantee you’ll be sparkling.
