Sake Masterclass At Akachochin

Wednesday May 1st, 2019

Join in the sake masterclass at South Wharf’s Akachochin to learn how to explore the different styles of sake and what to match it with next time you’re at a Japanese restaurant.

The world of sake can seem quite complex and varied from our traditional knowledge of beer and wine – but you will find you may know more than you think.

One of the best ways to learn about sake is for it to be taught in a way that explains what you are tasting in the glass. This masterclass is great for beginners as the basic 101 of sake.

Akachochin’s sake expert and venue manager, David, is South Wharf’s very own connoisseur. This is an exceptional chance to spend quality time learning about sake from someone with passion (and knowledge).

This is the insider scope to not only the stunning Akachochin restaurant, but also on growing sake collection.

The masterclass features sake matching to canapes and a take home booklet of information.

If you want to make a full day of it, hit up the morning sushi masterclass as well! Starting at 10am, you can find more info on the Akachochin website.
