Oktoberfest season has arrived and we’re giving you SO many more reasons to get amongst all the Brilliant Bavarian action of the world’s biggest bier festival. The catch? Unlike Germany’s annual festivities, no passport will be required for this unforgettable experience!
We’re kicking it all off with three thigh-slapping, toe-tapping, schnitzel-chomping, stein-swilling Oktoberfest Street Parties right across this great country of ours! These parties will be jam-packed with a full day line-up of outrageous Bavarian shenanigans that you’re bound to write home about (or at least Instagram).
From our ceremonial keg taps of our 4 official biers, through to our first inaugural Dogs of Oktoberfest Costume Contest and Australia’s only Oktoberfest Parade, this is one day of festivities you simply cannot miss.
With extended outdoor seating, pop-up bier tents, stages, Oom-pah-pah bands and so much more, we’ll keep the Oktoberfestivities (and beer!) flowing until late. This promises to be a party of epic proportions and one you’ll kick yourself if you miss.

We'll be kicking off the season on Saturday 16 September with a STREET PARTY in each state, followed by 6 straight weeks of
Oktoberfest frivolities at our Bavarian Bier Cafe, The Bavarian and Munich Brauhaus venues across the country!

– 4 Keg taps – one of each official bier; Hofbrau, Spaten, Lowenbrau and Paulaner

– Kids Petting Zoo
– Silent Disco in Uber Bar from 8pm
– Games Room – entertainer, face painter from 12pm ‘til 3pm
– General public can come by and watch the street parade. Walk Ins subject to availability
FULL SCHEDULE:
11am – Official Tapping of the first Oktoberfest Keg with a soon to be revealed special guest!
12pm – Australia’s First Official Oktoberfest Parade: Just as they do in Bavaria, we will be kicking off Oktoberfest with Australia’s first official Oktoberfest Parade. From traditional costumes to dance troupes, live music to flag bearers, enjoy the live, bold, loud and wonderful performers of thus must-see parade.
2pm – Lowenbrau Keg Tap
3pm – Dogs of Oktoberfest Costume Contest
We invite the pooches of Australia to don their best Oktoberfest inspired attire and join our first inaugural Dogs of Oktoberfest contest! From dalmations to dachshunds; bulldogs to Labradors; we welcome all dogs to join the contest
5pm – Spaten Keg Tap
6pm – Pork Knuckle Championship
Man vs. Pork Knuckle! Take on our famous crispy pork knuckle as part of this epic Oktoberfest food challenge! Who can devour our mighty pork knuckle the fastest and be crowned the King or Queen of the Schweinshaxe?
8pm – Paulaner Keg Tap
9pm – Oktoberfest Challenges with our Oom-Pah-Pah Band: Stein Hoist & Hold, Alphorn, Yodelling & more
10pm till late – AFTER PARTY!
