Did somebody say cocktails? Welcome to Plus 5 on the South Wharf waterfront. Delicious shares & tapas directly from the wood fire oven. The lounge atmosphere makes this the perfect venue for relaxing while enjoying the views of the waterfront & city skyline.

Getting things started

Take advantage of the Friday special half price Champagne special (from 5pm) & while you are sipping on a flute it’s time to browse the menu.

Grilled Halloumi from Plus5’s wood fire oven, served the traditional way with lemon. This dish is deliciously browned, the perfect accompaniment to any Plus 5 beverage. Classy girls still love messy food, get your hands dirty with Buffalo Wings served with a tasty blue cheese sauce & celery. You can order 6, 12 or 18 & you’re going to need all 18, they’re just so morish.

The Business End

Time to brush up on your Italian because we are talking pizza. Wood fired, with some amazing meat options; Wagyu, prosciutto, pulled lamb and more. There are of course some delicious veg options for you non-carnivorous folk. Extras Veg $1 & Meat or Cheese $2, load it up!

Shake it off

If cocktails are your reason for visiting Plus5, you will not leave disappointed. They have an adequate menu of signature cocktails, sours, old fashioned, bloody Marys, martinis, vintage cocktails & hot pleasures (perfect for the season).

Call us bias but we loved the South Wharf Side, Plus5’s spin on a Southside. Tea infused Beefeater gin and a sharp hint of lime & mint. However, we recommend any of their signature cocktails. We also couldn’t go past the very Instagramable “Cherry Bomb”.

Gin is all the rage right now and so that you don’t miss out on the juniper action, Plus5 has a great selection of deconstructed Gin & Tonics. Channel your inner mixologist & let the games be Gin.
